Our Biobedding straw pellets are extra springy thanks to having a far higher proportion of cellulose cells than any other form of wood based bedding (including wood pellets which are more ligneous and sticky).
Straw pellets are also more absorbent and have a better ability to break down allowing for a more fluffy and springy bed, all thanks to their fibrous structure.
Simply add a little water and watch them grow and fluff before your eyes!

Our pellets are triple vacuumed so as to ensure that minimal dust occurs upon use, making them perfect for horses or their owners who suffer from allergies.
Biobedding straw pellets are also cleaner for your horse, thanks to their non sticky fibres.

Perhaps our favourite element of Biobedding is how enviornmentally friendly it is to produce and use.
As our straw is grown on our farm here in Kent, once it has been harvested it is then pelleted on site to ensure the highest of standards of bedding for your horse.
But what about after it’s been used?
Did you know that we can even add your used straw pellets to our Anerobic Digester which in turn creates green electricity? Not only that, but we use the digestate which is a byproduct from the Anerobic Digester, as a totally natural and organic fertiliser. We can then spread this back onto our crops, thus creating an all round sustainable lifecycle for our product.
But wait..It gets better
We can even add your used horse bedding to the aerobic digester in order to create renewable energy! So your horse is quite literally saving the environment by saving on trees and by creating renewable energy!
Cost Effective
Because Biobedding lasts longer than other forms of bedding thanks to it’s ultra absorbent nature, fewer bags are required for your top us. Simply add in you 6-8 bags for your initial bed and apply 1-2 bags for your top ups as and when needed. Usually you’ll only need 1 to 2 for the week
